Joining Talking Points Sports has become the newest endeavor to my career journey in sports media. Started by a communications and media professional with experience in the field and comprised of other young individuals who aspire to get their foot into the industry, the platform serves writers the opportunity to contribute work to their portfolio, receive guidance in improving their personal brand, and support the advancing of their career goals through making or utilizing shared or compiled connections to people within the platform or outside in the industry. The founder and lead editor, Thomas Darro, directs the publication of content to the website, and his motivation is to give writers a platform to have their voices heard and provide them with a better chance of accomplishing their career aspirations.
I officially joined Talking Points Sports in September 2021, where I will be assisting in coverage for the New York Giants but also sharing my voice in other matters concerning the NFL and professional basketball as well. My hope is to further improve my writing through this partnership and to make even more connections that may lead to an even bigger next step in my career progression.
